Bhutan
To begin to understand Bhutan, you simply must go there. The incredible intricate artwork and architecture of the buildings is amazing. The Paro Dzong (fort) andKyichu Monastery are excellent examples of this. Perhaps the most spectacular monastery is the Taktsang Monastery(Tiger’s Nest), which is perched on the ledge of a virtually sheer-cliffed mountain. Western Bhutan is largely in a valley, but if you’re looking for adventure you can take multi-day treks into the Himalayas in order to take in this marvelous, pristine region of the world! Western Bhutan is changing fast; the modern world is mixing very quickly with this ancient society.
India
A crossroad for the world’s great religions, home to spectacular places of worship, host to cities which serve as studies in contrast, India is a destination which boasts ancient, awe-inspiring, and abundant diversity. Travel to India and visit the renowned landmark of the Taj Mahal, explore the beauty of the western beaches of Goa, learn about wildlife at the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary, discover ancient ruins, castles, and palaces, and witness firsthand plentiful natural beauty from the mountain rages to the Ganges River.
Maldives
When you think about the an example of “Paradise”, the Maldives comes to mine. This “tiny country” actually includes 1,190 islands around 26 ring like atolls. They have some of the most beautiful beaches in the world and all the water sports you can imagine. The diving there is fantastic, with a wide arra of water life including whale sharks, mantas, hammerheads, reef sharks, batfish, etc. There are whale and dolphin watching cruises, of if you want, you can swim with them. There are several excellent surfing areas. With its luxury accommodation and great restaurants your paradise experience can be complete. We know the Maldives very well. Nepal
Nepal is a magical place. Amazing architecture characterizes the country’s various Durbar Squares (Katmandu, Patan and Bhatakpur), while temples such as the Krishna Temple,Bouddha Nath and the Swayambhu Nath stupa “Monkey temple,” are truly incredible. You can visit Pashupatinath and witness the holy sadhus pray and cremations on the BagmatiRiver (a direct tributary of the Ganges River in India). If you like nature and adventure, you can stay at a nature lodge in Chitwan National Park, where you can see the Gharial and Marsh Mugger Crocodiles, Asian rhinoceros, wild elephants and maybe even a Bengal Tiger while you ride elephant back through this national park. Pokhara features a beautiful lake, stunning views of the Himalayas and is the launching area for the multi-day hikes into the Himalayas.
Sri Lanka
Just off the coast of India, Sri Lanka is a triangular island with many delights and surprises. There are the ancient ruins of Sigiriya and the Temple of the Tooth as well as the Dambulla Cave Temple. For those interested in more recent history there is the Ceylon Tea Trail. The Pinnawala Elephant Orphange provides you opportunities to interact with the elephants, including feeding them and swimming with them in the river. The hiker and adventurer have many options such as Adam’s Peak, Horton Plains National Park where you can spot wild elephants and leopards, or even go on a safari in Udawalawe National Park or Minneriya National Park.
